Exclamation orange plugs?? and a few other q's.

Ok im running a dry system with a 80 shot. A couple of weeks ago i fouled my plugs.(autolite 104's) when i pulled them out they were dark red. So i put autolite 103's back in. Pulled no.1 and it was orange. There not fouled yet but i am getting a slight miss. Now to figure out what is causing this. I have a header leak that is causing my knock sensor to go off. Hence pulling timing. Im not going to run the bottle untill i get a digital 6 so i can retard timing. Is the knock sensor pulling way too much timing? Also what plugs have a short ground strap and recessed electrode? Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Are you running an Octane Booster? That usually creates a red or orange color on the plugs.

When i fouled the plugs the first time i was using octane booster. But not recently since i installed the 103's. Just 91 octane gas and no additives.
