That's impressive! Not far from the single digits!

Nice times! That trap speed definately bodes well for a 9 second run!

Yeah, the 60' was a pitiful 1.69, so it coulda/shoulda/woulda gone high nines. Then again, they would have booted me off the track if I had run under 10.000 and there may be another day or two at the track before our 6 month winter sets in . I will save it for the last day and may try a really hard launch. I am a little leary about launching off the brake with the nitrous on.

Any upgrades to the driveshaft/differential/axles? I feel the same way you do about leaving with the nitrous on full tilt out of the hole. Somethings gonna turn into a pretzel!

Everythings been WAY upgraded. Dynotech steel DS with #1350 U-joints, billet yoke, Moser 12-bolt with 33-spline axles, full race TH400 from Rossler trans. But the fokker still weighs over 4,000lbs and putting 1,000 or so hp to it all at once makes me a bit nervous. There's only one bullet in that gun, so to speak.

rskrause, sounds like you have pretty nice set up. Do you have any pics of your car? I am going to be adding pic page to my website soon and I want to put some fast street cars running NX products on it. I am going to check with RacingLT1 and a few others also. Thanks

I spend a lot of working my car and other projects over at my friend Bob's shop. Kind of like a second "job" though I don't get cash for it. My car can be seen on his web site. Go to www.kennedysdynotune.com and look at the left hand menu bar and click on "Dual Power Adder Camaro". You will see my car there. I need to update the page, maybe I will tonight, to reflect the new times. Forgive the shameless self-promotion on the page, it is a commercial site after all!

There's only one pic there at this point and feel free to use it if you wish.

In your case Rich, I would let it rip off the line! I definately understand your reservations regarding the heavy car/big torque combo, but I think you've done a great job of preparing your car to handle it. Let it fire both barrels! Lets see a 9!

Rich, IIRC the standard solenoid used in LT1/LS1 systems was like a .08x -.09x orifice, which should be enough for around 250hp. More then that and you really need to upgrade to -6 feedline etc anyways.

Good luck!

Thanks, that was the dimension I was looking for!

Rich...you're car is truly amazing! Can't wait to see the 9 second slip w/ full emissions stuff on it and no weight reduction. FLAT OUT AMAZING.
