NX MAF kit??

On the NX kit which replaces the MAF sensor, will it work on a non-ram air car? I am wondering if the motor will "swallow" the nitrous correctly or if you will get some puddling of gas and N20 in the intake.

Would it be a good idea on a non-ram air car to relocate the MAF closer to the Throttle body? It seems if there was a backfire though that it would ruin the MAF part of it. I am really not sure about this system and if it's what i need. What do you guys think on the subject?

Re: NX MAF kit??

In a NX MAF kit you use your stock maf sensor. The NX kit only replaces the maf ends. It is probably the best nitrous kit made for the LS1, in my opinion. I have sprayed 225 in the past and am jetted at 200 right now. I have never had any problems with the system. Do a search on NX MAF kit on the various boards and convince yourself.

good friend of mine put one on his lt1 motor. spraying 150. works well, had a few problems at first with backfires, but he got it figured out and makes the car a whole differnt car under the hose.

I personally wouldn't use the the NX MAFkit on a non-Ram Air LT1. I would be afraid that the fuel would collect on the outside turn of the stock rubber elbow, therefore not making to the cylinders, and cause a lean condition.

Re: NX MAF kit??

^^Yea that was kindof my concern. Or could you relocated the MAF around that bend and closer to the throttlebody? I guess it would be easier to just put the nozzles in the intake anyway probably. That way I could put them on the bottom and hide it
