Well I guess I'll call NX tomorrow and order the correct jets. Since no one is spraying a 200 shot.

I called NX today and they gave me the jetting of 78N and 41F for the 200 shot. They also recommended that I upgrade to a bigger line going from the solenoid to the nozzle. 200 shot.

Out of curiousity, how would you upgrade to a larger line when the fittings are already semi-permanent because of the built-in threads in the noid and nozzle?

Uh oh Derrick I hope you pull some timing on a 200 shot or try it first and pull a plug to see if there is any detonation. I know there is a guy running an Impala with a 200 shot and he pulls quite a bit of timing but runs on 93 octane too. Good luck and I would like to see you run 10's too

You must be talking about me

I run 1 deg on the 1st stage (80hp) then 3 more on the second stage (120hp) on 93 octane Shell. Total timing is 33 degrees.

Hey Derrick, I would seriously think about a new fuel system. That 255lph pump is gonna be on the ragged edge.

I ran a 200 shot in my Vette one weekend and spent the next 4 months rebuilding it. I only had the stock pump though and it just did not have enough to keep up. I think I also had some bad gasoline. It would be wise to run 1/2 race gas 1/2 93 octane mix for a 200 shot IMO. I have heard the LT1 intake does not flow very well for nozzle injected nitrous over a 150 shot, but I think it is probably OK. My motor was a built motor as well, but detonation will kill the best motors. I was also retarding the timing 8 degrees. Just take the necessary precautions and make sure you can feed the fuel to the nozzle and to the motor.

FWIW, when I ordered 175 and 200 shot pills for my system, they said nothing about upgrading the lines from the solenoid to the nozzle, but it sounds like a good idea.

Yeah, the three magic words:

FUEL, FUEL and more FUEL........

My fuel system can handle 1000+HP, and I'm only running around 550. Been running the 200 shot on the stock LT1 bottom for just about 3 years now. 1st stage 46/28, 2nd stage 57/33.

Derrick, sorry,i didnt see this post sooner. Those are the same jet sizes i have for a 200 shot.
Also John Thomas (nmca/pro NX rep) said a -4 from the nozzle to the noid would be needed. He has some -4 lines with -3 ends so you dont need to go nuts swapping everything around.
Now i just gotta get my swaybar adjusted right and get this thing to hook, then i start with the 175 and 200 jets.

I've ran the 175 shot a few times without any problems. I've decided not to go any higher than that. Why push my luck. When this stock bottom-end finally does go, a forged 383 or 396 with a 200 shot will be in the works.

RSKrause is running 733 RWH with a single 255lph intank and a boost-a-pump to increase voltage. He's running a blown 383 with a 150 shot. No problems with fuel. So I have some faith in my 255lph intank pump.

I was determined never to run out of fuel again, so I put a 255 pump in the tank as a replacement to the stock unit and in addition I added another 255 in the tank and a new 8an line that feeds into the drivers side fuel rail. The combo should support over 1000hp.
