Can I interchange nitrous parts???

I currently have a NOS dry kit and am considering going with a wet kit (either Nitrous Express or TNT). Since I have all the lines already run through the car I am wondering if I can just change the Solenoids and basic stuff that is under the hood. I would like to keep using the 15# bottle that I already have mounted in the trunk as well as the bottle heater and all the accesories. Is this possible???

The other question is who makes the best wet kit. I hear great things about NX and I hear great numbers from TNT. Who truly makes the better set up??? I am planning on a 200 shot if that helps.

Thanks in advance for any input.

You can swap parts between kits as much as you want. I upgraded from a Nitrous works kit,to a NX kit and reused bottles, lines, switches.

As far as who makes the best.........good question,i have been very happy with the NX kit. From what i have seen is the TNT kit sprays BIG to get those numbers.

So basically the lines are all the same and I can use my WOT switch, NOS purge, NOS bottle heater, gauges, and same bottle. But just change the sloenoids and nozzles to something else.

If thats the case I am curious where I can get individual parts to.

Also is it true that TNT dynos there cars to get the rear wheel numbers they claim. I am really leaning toward the kit that doesn't run lean and has a good reliability record.

Keep the answers comming!!!

Thanks

I am also curious if both these systems use a nozzle in the intake tract or offer a plate?

TNT uses a plate that goes between the TB and Intake, but in that plate are just a couple nozzles (one for each blade).

You can mix and match EVERYTHING. Solenoids, Nozzles, lines, you name it. My new system isn't even sold in complete form, I still need a -6 line if anyone ahs one.

Not when Mixing/Matching Solenoids and Nozzles, it can effect the Tuneup, depening on WHAT solenoid you put in, etc. Als the TNT systems use a COMPLETELY different tuneup, since they're using two jets.

BTW as far as why TNT makes more power...... I'd love if someone posted the entire jet map (or just the more important 100/150hp settings).

Anyone want me to do some math and show how its all in the larger jet surface area why TNT makes more power then the rest? Jeez, and I always though it was Voodoo magic.

Nitrous Express sells and upgrade kit to convert the dry kit over to a wet application.

IMO, the TNT guys just need to learn that a 100 shot means that the output is supposed to be 100 horsepower not that they call a pill combination that puts out 125 rwhp a 100 shot.
