The NOS electric openers are nothing but a NOS solenoid. They work pretty well but won't flow much more than a 175 shot. If you spraying less than that, it will work fine. As far as sealing, they will last as long and seal as well as a normal NOS solenoid.

The NOS bottle opener seems to be more than a normal nitrous solenoid. Maybe its just the lack of a "return" spring, but the operation is completely different than a normal nitrous solenoid, which only activates when +12V power is constantly applied. The NOS bottle solenoid uses only a momentary +12V contact to move the inside cylinder to an open or closed position. Power is not applied constantly.

And I have sprayed 300flywheelHP through an NOS remote bottle valve, bolted directly to the bottle, and flowing directly into an NX porous bronze nitrous filter and a -6AN line.

The NOS valve seemed to seal fairly well. But I made it a habit to shut the hand valve when the car wasn't being driven.
