I have just installed a NX system in my 95 z lt1 and when I hit the purge just before I stage it will not spray a liquid gas from the purge tube just a gas no liquid at all. The bottle was about half full nozzle pointing down the line runs from the trunk area under the car up to the solenoid under the hood, I am using a 75 shot right now and ran a 8.325 in the 1/8th about .400 better than without the No2, I also have a bottle heater and it was turned on at the time I made my run. I think the bottom feed in the bottle may be in the wrong position on not installed. Thanks for any suggestions. Redkillerz

 

The only reason the nitrous is "liquid" is because it is under high pressure. The instant you "purge" it to the atmosphere, it turns into a gas. The "conversion" occurs at the purge solenoid, and only gas phase nitrous comes out the end of the purge tube.

 

I think I have found my problem, the guy that had the bottle filled told me the the guy that filled it ran out of nitrous and could not fill it completely so that is why it was only half full, The purge would not show any fog at all when I hit the purge, nothing and I should be able to see a fog spray out of it. I think the guy put more air in it than nitrous and that is what I am purging. I open the bottle today to drain it completely so I can have it refilled and it just looked like high pressure air coming out. I will know after the refill if that was it. Thanks for your reply
