No dyno tune.

Am I in for a world of hurt running a 150 shot without getting my car on the dyno to check my A/F ratio??

There are not any dyno's around here, so I would need to make a long trip or wait till a portable dyno comes to town.

Re: No dyno tune.

A long trip is probably cheaper and less time consuming than a new motor.

Re: No dyno tune.

What did people do prior to chassis dyno's???? Read the plugs, tuned rich, and worked to a hotter tune slowly.

If you have a good fuel pump and the correct jetting(reccomended from ex. NX). I do not see why you need a dyno tune.

nah... but make sure you have like... a/f shut off and a FPSS..... that is a big shot... so watch those plugs! you should be good to go besides that

Re: No dyno tune.

150 big? Not to be rude but that is almost perfect on the LT-1 I say screw all the FPSS and the rest and just get a FP guage and spray away but then again I guess I am not using my car for a daily.
