Angry Nitrous plate and aftermarket throttlebody

Whats up fellas? I put a compucar plate kit on my car about 2yrs ago. And I had to file down the back of the thromostat housing and it fit no problem. Then I went to put my 52mm on and I had to grind the s@#t out of the housing and the the housing under the throttle body witch is very thin and I ground through it F@#K. But any way after junking the gaskets and about a hundred cuse words I got it on. Any one go through the same problem?

A Rubber Mallet was my choice to beat it in to place. Works great!

I ran an MTI 52MM TB (stock bored TB) for awhile with a Compucar plate. I had no fitting problems whatsoever.
