Thanks for the info, which we may call Nitrous 201 I didn't know that. I guess that's why people usually run less than 1050psi??

Leaving the bottle open all the time can damage the seats in the solenoids.

You should purge if you are after consistancy and max performance... its possible to get hot spots in the nitrous lines, particularly in the engine compartment, and you end up with a bubble of gaseous nitrous in the end of the line, delaying the hit.

i should have stated that i only leave the bottle on if doing back to back runs. but i still purge regardless since i am after consistency.
