new best on 125 shot

i ran my t/a today with the 125 shot and OMG its sweeeet. haha. the car gets squirrely in 2nd and 3rd gear every time it hits, it love it. anyways heres my runs for the night...

13.6 at 106 with 2.2 60' - No nitrous
12.9 at 115 with 2.1 60' - Spraying 2nd, 3rd and 4th
12.5 at 117 with 2.0 60' - Spraying 2nd, 3rd and 4th, but i actually purged this time
12.5 at 117 with 2.0 60' - Did the same as above.

my last 2 runs were awesome, im running 315 nittos at 22 psi, and they were hooking well however i still need improvment launching but im so psyched i trapped 117, i was hoping to do 115.

my previous best was a 13.1 at 111 with a 2.2 60' on a 75 shot.

and also a 13.3 at 105 with a 2.0 60' and no nitrous

That's a high mph.
Get your 60ft's down.
Traction is your friend.

I trapped 117mph but I did it in 11.53 seconds!

I hate the altitude up here! I can only run 105 mph on a 125 shot.

With a cam, bolt-ons, and a 125shot, i think it should have trapped higher. Also the 6 speed and ****ty 60ft's should have helped the trap speed to. Who tuned your car? Even hotcam'ed auto's can pull down a 110mph trap, i'de say you car is very sub par off the bottle for the mods done. Cam+Bolt-ons+6 speed and ONLY 106mph?

ummm the car has 100k miles on it and the track is one of the ****tiest in the country.lol. my buddies 6 speed LS1 dynoed 340 with 12 bolt and slicks was trapping 106 and cutting 2.0 60's.

Dan Bills of FLP tuned it. said to be one of the best at least in the midwest

don't let it bug you.....I had a cam only 95 Z28 that would only trap in the low 100's also....ran a best of 13.4 on a 2.0 60'

Don't forget, it sounds like you still have stock cylinder heads. There's a lot to be gained by porting. Even more with some new-technology aluminum cylinder heads.
