Ive got a big race tonight , ive only got 2 pounds of nitrous left im running
150 shot , running to about 100 mph or so is this enough for 1 run ill be spraying off a button not wide open throttle , Can anyone tell me If ihave enough?

Don't think of nitrous as "good to the last drop". With a
ten pound bottle, I try not to go below 4 lbs before a refill.

Couldn't of said it better myself. Hopefully you don't have any $$$ riding on this, try to get your bottle refilled.

 

2lb in your bottle isnt worth ****, maybe 400lb of bottle pressure at room temp. oh itll shoot nitous but maybe 20hp worth just find some one with a full bottle or get yours filled

 

The pressure will still initially be 900psi at 83degF, as long as there is liquid nitrous left in the tank. Tank level does not determine the pressure, at least at the start of the run. Where he gets into trouble is the auto-cooling that takes place when liquid nitrous leaves the bottle via the main line, and some of the liquid nitrous left in the tank has to vaporize to fill the void in the bottle. That's when the liquid in the tank cools down, and the pressure starts to drop, all through the run. And as pressure drops, the power drops off. Cut the pressure by 50% and you cut the power by 30%.
