to much fuel???

I was wondering if running to fat will cause a bad stumble on nitrous? it kinda feels like it falls on its face. car ran 2 tenths slower on nitrous than it did on motor.

Adding way too much fuel will cause a serious bog/stumble, and would be slower than a correct A/F ratio. When you say "... on nitrous" are you sure your nitrous was even flowing? My guess is that it was not, and you were only feeding additional fuel to the NA motor.

In my opinion you need to pull the nitrous lines from the engine and turn the system on. See if the nitrous actually IS going into the engine. The fuel being injected will make the engine stop running...no harm done. Odds are your nitrous solenoids aren't doing their job of lettijng in the nitrous.

A FAT or rich condition won't cause a stumble or bog, the exhaust fumes will just look rich(darker than normal). My car is rich...Why? Rich=safe.

It is possible that he still has residual pressure but no N2O... So, he could just be injecting air. He may test and squirt "air" into the atmosphere while still smelling a hint of N2O. When you test the vent into atmosphere, N2O should be a white plume.

Indeed, about the air.

When my 15# bottle gets close to empty, it'll give out air instead of nitrous.

If you can see what pressure your bottle is/was at, that would help. If it's <= 700-800, chances are that you're spraying regular air.

900-950psi open bottle flip switch and press the wot switch and a hint of air shots out of the solenoid then white stuf everywhere. just got my 15# tank filled and the was the first hit off of the tank. Also if it matters it was running 100 octane unleaded that nite.
