Mallory 685 Mounting Location

Anybody have any pics of a good spot to mount the Mallory 685 or of any other ignition box? Possibly looking into mounting it in the cabin somewhere but not sure where exactly.

You could mount it on the dash like they do in NASCAR.....lol. I relocated my battery to the back of the car so mine is where the battery was.

Since I have an SS hood and airbox setup I put it in the place of the stock Z28 air box on the front drivers side.

I did not want to mount mine in the glovebox. So I looked everywhere.... then I mounted mine in the glovebox.

Unless you have done the battery relocation or your cold air kit doesn't go down into the fenderwell you're stuck with the glovebox.

I have the MSD 6AL and I'm thinking of mounting it on my strut tower brace. I think I'm going to make an aluminum plate and attach it to the strut tower brace from underneith and mount the MSD on there. Only thing is I'm worried about heat on the box but I might put a heat sheild below the aluminum plate to protect the box from heat. Hope this works because that is the only place I can see to mount it.
