Ls1 Nos Kit To Fit Lt1

i HAVE RECENTLY BOUGHT AN NOS DRY KIT DIRT CHEAP OUT OF A SMASHED 2001 SS. I WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE KNOWS WHAT I WILL HAVE TO DO TO MAKE A SAFE FUNCTIONING 75 OR 100 HP SHOT SETUP, AND WHAT I WILL NEED TO GET TO MAKE THIS WORK?

i AM CONSIDERING SPRAYING BEFORE THE MAF SENSOR ANY INFO ON THIS WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED

THANKS
MATT

You might want to try the "search" function... I know this topic has been covered several times in the past. The LS1 sprays successfully before the MAF sensor alledgedly because the LS1 computer operates at a faster rate, and because the LS1 stays in closed loop in PE mode. That is the explanation that NOS gave when they unveiled the NOS 5177 kit. But I have had LS1 owners tell me the part about the PCM staying in closed loop is not correct. All I know is that spraying before the MAF in an LS1 works surprisingly well.

There are a couple people who have posted on this forum that they spray before the MAF sensor on an LT1. To me, that is risky, since we know the LT1 PCM is slower than the LS1 PCM, and we are absolutley positive that the LT1 PCM does not use feedback from the O2 sensors in PE mode.

The safest way to spray would be to use the NOS 5176 setup, spray after the MAF sensor, and boost the fuel pressure to add the extra fuel. But a "search" might turn up some info from the people who have sprayed an LT1 through the MAF.
