Looking for N2O newbie reading material

Anyone have suggested reads?

I have a 93 Firehawk with an LE2.1HL heads/cam package being installed.
I wanted to do some reading and see if juice was the right way to
go and what kind of setup I'd want.

Many people have asked that question so id say search the N20 thread and see what most people are running. Harrisspeedworks.com, nitrousoutlet.com are some sites that offer kits. On LT1 motors a 100 hp shot is considered a safe shot. IMO wet kits seem to be the way to go, i have one and love it.

David Vizard has a book that explains general nitrous principles very well. There is no book that is going to tell you "which nitrous system should I buy for my F-body" though.

I wouldn't expect it to, I just want to understand the concepts
so I can make an informed decision on what is best for my car.

I like the direct-port kits, but other than looking cool and
(at least in my mind) appearing to be a more efficient way
to inject nitrous, I lack the fundamental understanding to make
those choices.

Talk to some of the dealers and get their opinion. I know there are some one here that will answer any questions. I was in the dark about nitrous until I started asking questions too. It took about 3 weeks to get all my research but i finally got it and i feel that i am running a safe setup.

I have this book, it is very good and even does a NOS dry kit install on an LT1. It will get you familar with alot of the nitrous terminology and give you an idea of how to do some basic wiring, plumbing, ect. to make a good, clean install.
