Leaky Fuel Solenoid.....

under normal driving i have had the fuel solenoid leak fuel by (brand new solenoid), of course makes car run like doo doo..

a flip of the switch (bottle off) and a couple taps on the wot switch clears up the problem..

anyone else out there with similar issues?

I just posted about this last night actually! Look for a similar topic name in this forum... the concensus was to use teflon tape instead of paste, leaving a few of the threads clear towards the noid.

YOU MISUNDERSTOOD...

FUEL LEAKS (THROUGH / BY) THE SYSTEM, BOGGING THE CAR DOWN BECAUSE OF THE EXTRA FUEL...

I would remove the solenoid and at a minimum, disassemble and clean it. You may also want to get a new plunger for it and replace it since you have it apart.

THEN IM SENDING IT BACK...

BRAND NEW OUT OF THE BOX...MAY HAVE BEEN USED LESS THAN 10 TIMES TOTAL...

WAS JUST SEEING IF ANYONE ELSE HAS THIS PROBLEM

By all means, if it is new send it back. Call them (NX) and talk to Brian (if he still works there). They will most likely charge you $10 to service the part and for mail expenses.
