i spray off the line. nitto's will let you spray earlier, but you wont be able to launch with nitrous.

fix the traction problems first,if you dont you wont be real happy with nitrous.

I can only spray outa the hole at the track. That would be where my 1.4 60's and lifting the tires come into play

I do as well Also when I was running the NOS dry kit I had Nittos and I sprayed out of the hole and they netted me a 1.78 shorttime with just a little bit of spinning. Actually it was helping me out because when it hooked real good I broke a spider gear in the rear Dont have to worry about that now since I have a 12 bolt and wet kit with a 200 shot.

I spray a 150 shot straight out of the hole. I run Nitto 275/50s at about 12-13lbs and have cut low 1.7 60s. That's with 2.73s and leaving off idle.

M6 cars are going to have more trouble leaving on the spray. Nothing some slicks wont fix, but I hope you have the dough for a 12blt/9in.

A4 cars will be much easier to launch on than M6s. Of course, the more gear/stall, the more dificult it will be. I think I'll still be able to run with my Nittos after 3.73s/3k+ stall...at least I hope so

1st stage 350hp right off the transbreak coming off the line.

I have a buddy that will be on the spray when the stage light start to come down and he is spraying total 930hp via 2 stages of nitrous now figure the horsepower of the motor at 1238hp at the flywheel for total around 2100hp. All of this and the car see's street time. It's pretty bad when a car running 8's isn't the fasy street car out any more and depending where a person is running in the 8's can really have a behind a few car's. Nothing worse then more then one 7 second street car out but in fact a hand full.

And any of those nonbelievers or would be willing challengers that want to run are more than welcome to step to the plate to give a swing that's off corse if your in Michigan.

Like some of the others said tracktion is everything and don't forget 60' time!

I do! The earlier you can apply that extra power, the bigger your smile will be when you get the timeslip. Serious tires are in order.

All Engaging Nitrous from a dead stop I went from:

275/40/17 Nitto Drags (1.84 60 ft time=100shot)

to

315/35/17 Nitto Drags (1.80 60 foot time=100shot)

to

26X10.5X15" ET Streets (150 shot 100% traction, time N/A

to

28X11.5X15" ET Streets (Same as above, no times yet)

The added 50hp of spray and the torque produced combined with the "overkill for my car" traction should easily see low 1.70's if not a solid 1.6X short time. Wish me luck and goodluck to yourself.

ever heard of Milt Decker? 63 Vette with a Juiced Fulton motor. run's 6.7's in NMCA trim.

he has driven it on the street,Ocean City MD has 2 car show's/cruises a year and his car was cruising down the highway last fall. is it practicle? nope,is it cool? hell yes. has all working lights and is tagged in PA.

so dont doubt what others have seen, just remember Pro Street cars used to be street cars, and some guys are just sick enough to cruise down the road.

Sprayin

Sprayin out of the hole is probably the funist thing a guy can do with his pants still on

We (threadedtire) and I have found that a modest susp setup and careful tuning can yeild awsome results even on drag radials
1.44- 46 average.

We havent sprayed our NEW system yet and we now have slicks
(burned up the radials) but plan on it this weekend

i'm expecting mid to low 30's on just a 175 shot

Well let ya know how it goes

Spraying out of the hole is definately a rush. Its not a F-body but to give an example a good friend of mine bought an 86 Mustang GTwith 120K miles on it, installed a new auto trans, 3.73's, slicks, and the normal bolt ons(headers, exhasut etc.). The motor was stock and it went 13.70's on the motor and 11.50's on a 175 shot. It had 60' time in the high 1.8's on the motor and 1.49 on the spray! He had a Stage 1 NX kit jetted to 175hp.

any one spary in second with 2:73's is this even possible i don't want to burn up my nittos or even street tires to fast and i would still like my ten bolt to be intact

i'm going to be running a 100 shot if i decide to go with the juice so what do you guys think
