Question Just bought a ZEX lt1 dry 75-125 shot, SUGGESTIONS?!

I am new to this nitrous stuff, but scored a ZEX DRY LT1 kit #82018 for a KILLER deal and am going to add it!!! Its a 75-125hp kit. It comes with a 10# bottle. How many runs can I get off a 10# bottle? How much to fill it up? Where do I go to fill it up? I have a 10 bolt rear with a TA girdle and 3.73 gears. I bought 4.10's, should I put them on still or should I just put them in my 67's 10 bolt? I have a NEW rear because I already blew out the old one!!! Thanks---

I have the same kit and it works GREAT! Installation is very easy, and if you ned any additional info go to the ZEX website and look around. I'm not sure how many passes you'll get, but I would assume about 4-5 good passes at 125 HP jetting. If you still have the stock disc injectors you will most likely need to upgrade to the a different design, as the disc injectors will most likely lock up due to the increased fuel pressure, which is what happened to me. Also be sure you install the booster pump or upgrade your current pump if you are running a stock pump. I would also recommend you get a window switch and retard the timing. I personally run a Mallory 685 which takes care of everything. My 10-bolt is holding up just fine, since I run stret tires. Good luck! You'll enjoy it!

I totally forgot to list what I have but THANKS SO MUCH FOR YOUR INPUT!!! What is the window switch....for timing? Explain how it works for me, please. The Mallory 685 is what I should look for? Here are specs:

When I install the kit I will have a comps cam 306 cam.... 230/244 .510/.540 , ported aluminum heads w/ beehive springs, 1.6 crane gold rr's, ported throttle body, supercharged thunderbird FORD MOTORSPORTS *yeah I know* 30# ( I think, lol been awhile) injectors, granatelli maf, kn cai, underdrive pulley, vortec elbow, ported airfoil to match TB, edelbrock shorties, 1 high flow cat, y pipe, modified flowmaster muffler, 3.73 (soon to be 4.10's, already bought), TA girdle, B&M short throw shifter, centerforce stage 2 clutch, SLP subframe connectors, adj. panhard rod, BMR torque arm, Bilstein shocks, and a Madz28 tune. Thats most of the parts that may be affected with the extra power. I should be fine?

With a dry kit, you MUST wire in a fuel pressure safety switch!! I can't stress that enough. You will blow some stuff up if you have any kind of fuel system failure.

I run a NO2 press gauge also. I would look into a bottle heater. Not a must have, but very convenient. Dyno Tune has a bottle pressure heater for a reasonable price. Set the pressure and walk away type of thing

Cool Re: Just bought a ZEX lt1 dry 75-125 shot, SUGGESTIONS?!

Your complete 82018 kit included an in-line electric fuel pump. It is a MUST that you install it. You don't want to run out of fuel pressure while you are spraying. Can you spell DISASTER!!!!!!

Good luck
