how is shifting with 4.11s in a 100 shot

how is shifting with 4.11s in a 100 shot
i plan to only spray from 3rd gear and up in my car (4.11s gears) how is the shifting on it...also how is it lets say from a 1st gear roll.......do you HAVE to shift really fast
