Ok hey. I am wanting to get a nitrous kit for my lt1 , but the problem im facing is whats the best type, brand, and how much of a shot my lt1 can take? Just aint got the money for really expensive mods and need some sortof boost.

 

Many people have had good luck with the NX single nozzle setup and run up to 150hp without a problem. Unfortunately, the basic "kits" from all the nitrous companies aren't adequate for safe use. At a minimum, to use N2O safely you need a window switch and a pressure gauge. Neither are part of the basic kit. A bottle heater is necessary as well if you plan to operate the system in cool weather.
