I did a search on mounting the NX switches, but I came up empty. I was looking at the switches themselves and wondering how I could mount them in thwe ashtray. From looking in there, it seems like I would have to do some "custom fabricating". How should I go about mounting this? Thank you.

 

I just took out the ashtray, and cut a piece of tin to snuggly fit back in its place, drilled some holes in it for the switches and wala, switches in ashtray

 

i had to cut the trim off both sides of the switches to make them fit. you also have to cut away lots of plastic underneath to make it fit. i hot glued mine to the console, doesnt look pretty but it works and it aint goin anywhere. i will try to get some pics.

 

there really is no "how to". I just went in with a dremel and took away plastic until it fit just right. Here is mine:

i grinded the plastic on the console, NOT the switch. If you do it just right the switch will pop in really snug, kinda pops in and the plastic will hold it in place.
