have a few ?'s about a dual stage setup
have a few ?'s about a dual stage setup
I spray a 150 shot single stage off the line and to the end of the track car hooks good and runs good this way. Now my ?'s is would I see any benifit from running a dualstage? I know most split the power up to like 25% 1st stage 75% 2nd stage right.I might have a chance to trade for a carbed kit and just get a shark nozzel. then I will also have the Xtra bottle I have been wanting too.Could I run more juice safely with a dual stage or will the out come be the same?
Thanks Sean

if your hooking off the line with a 150 shot, it's not worth it to me. If you have traction issues, a progressive controller would be a good option. Dual stage is nice, but for a 150 shot it's not worth it UNLESS u want to get crazy and forge the internals and do like a 100 shot 1st stage, then 200 shot second.
If traction isn't a issue why not uitilize 100% of your nitrous kit? What I'm saying is once you have taken your nitrous kit to 100% of its ability and assuming you nitrous kit will support bigger hp levels say 250,275hp or so, get your current nitrous kit working to its fullest potential and once you see a 1.000 to 1.500 second drop off your ET. then and only then step to the pump for stage two.
As for that nitrous controller WHY? You would be luck if you can get it to work and do the job its there for. Most aren't worth what they cost not to mention the additional stuff that need to be purchased like additional nitrous solenoid and what not. You ask the majority of guys that are really going fast and no one is using controllers.
If your looking for additional info on guys that run 2 and 3 stages of nitrous check this site and in the nitrous forum there are a few guys there that run combinations as stated above and have 7.000 street cars if thats what you want to call them but the majority of them are very experienced with nitrous.
