For Fun- Lets see some bad a$$ N20 set ups

Im playing around with different ideas...

Ultimately my z28 will be turbo charged some day.. Here in 1.5 years when i graduate and start making salary. But for now I might go with a shot of nitrous.
Lets see some bad set ups..

I wanna see Aircraft missle arm switches, bottle openers, scanmaster monitoring the computer, gauge set ups, solenoid set ups, LED's telling u when a solenoid is open or shut... All the goodies..

I've got 5 grand to my name and constantly saving and want that turbo set up but thats like 12 grand when all is said and done. So maybe 1000 bucks on a 100 shot will make me happy..

I don't have pics yet (and this is a carb sbc) but I just put together an NOS Cheater system for my car. It consists of the NOS cheater kit (150-250hp), an NOS purge purging out of the cowl, a holley 110 gph mechanical pump feeding the carb, a holley blue with holley performance regulator with return feeding the fuel solenoid from a 1 gallon jaz nitrous enrichment fuel cell. This is being added to a vortec headed 350 with the XE274 cam. It currently runs 12.6's at 108.X with the wrong spark plugs in (.360 reach instead of .708 that vortecs take ). I am hoping to be well into the 11's with this setup . I will have pics in a few days.

I just bought a 396 Stroker 1994 Z28 and the owner said that it had an under the manifold NOS system but it wasn't completed. Sounds like what you described. Is the only giveaway a braided steel line entering the back of the manifold by the firewall?

You still have to mount solenoids somewhere, I am not sure how you go about that. Especially on an LT1 car, 2 lines going into the back of the manifold would be so hard to look for with the back of the engine up inside the firewall, I think you will be ok. I dont know what the under manifold kit does about solenoids...

Hey ZDriver, let me know what you want in a system and I think we can get you fixed up cheaper than the $1000 you mentioned in your post. Thanks

I have been researching an NX kit for some time. I am very interested in what you have to offer as far as pricing and and systems.

Blockbuster should have Fast and Furious in stock. Might want to check that out. Brian Spilner has a phat NOS setup .

whoa... just because I want to see a nice setup doesnt mean it has to be rice. I dont know about you but I like my camaro looking different and good.

My idea of a cool set up would be.. a scanmaster in the air vent to watch your a/f. 3 or 4 aircraft missle fire switches for a dual stage of nitrous, bottle opening, and bottle warmer.

SpeedtechInc im holding off for now. I really have my heart set on a turbo setup.. It'd just take me longer to save up for it.

...I got some pics of my setup on my website in my profile on the Trans Am pics page. I got aircraft style switch , and all the goodies. Dont have scanmaster...but use AutoTap(way better IMO) to scan stuff when I need to.

i understand the different idea, but the way you described it,it was begging for abuse.

i run the NX switches,i prefer the subtle look for them, then i let my guages/rollbar/et's get thier attention. some pics can be seen in my links.

Here are some pics of my set-up, I have changed the solenoid locations as well as my Cold Air Intake set-up has all been changed as well so the nozzle is moved as well, but the swithc panel is still the same, I have the Aircraft Switches
