You need to get the correct fitting (-4AN) to connect to the Schrader valve on the fuel supply line at the rear of the intake manifold - I like the NOS Part #17535. Then run a short braided hose to the location where you want the FPSS to sit. If that is all you need to connect to the line, just get a 24" hose with a -4AN on one end, and a 1/8" NPT on the other (another NOS part) and use a brass coupling to connect the FPSS to the hose.

If you have other devices to connect at that point - fuel pressure sensor, line to fuel solenoid in a wet system - use a brass "tee" rather than the coupling.

When connecting to the Schrader fitting, you need to remove the valve core (a tire valve core tool will work), and you need to be very careful not to overtighten the fitting, or you will rip the Schrader connection right off the fuel line... it is only "swedged" on. That's why the 90deg "swivel" fitting I mentioned above works well... you can get it aimed in the right direction without forcing the threads.

There is one attached to the fitting in this photo.

I've connected mine to the fuel 'noid by a gauge fitting that has female 4an at the side connecting to the the noid, a mail 4an connecting to the fuel line and a 1/16 npt where the hobbs is attached.
I too like the 90° swivel fitting, used it fuel fuel take of and used same fitting mentioned above for electric fuel gauge sender.
