Fogger vs TB plate- which is better for me?
Guys help me out here-
I have 2 bottles
my friend stole my nitrous solinion
i want to run a 150 shot. if i hit my intended times i'll quit there. i'll go up as high as 225.
for the road I'll use a harmless little 100-125 shot
which system is cheaper/better?
I obviously want to dual stage.
If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know

So basically you have a "kit" without the Nitrous solenoid. You have only the fuel solenoid, the lines, wiring, nozzle? and 2 bottles. And you want to make it a dual stage?
You have a couple of options. Find another full kit, buy it and buy a new Nitrous solenoid, sell the bottle from the new kit as you already have 2 and voila..dual stage. Or, you can buy 3 solenoids (one fuel, and 2 nitrous) and the fittings and line needed to splice into the same fuel and nitrous feeds that you already have. You will also need a new nozzle. You have a couple choices in that arena. NX has their basic shark nozzle for a single stage, or they have a dual stage nozzle that has 4 inputs (2 fuel, 2 nitrous) and they all feed the motor through the one output. The nozzles and solenoids are expensive though so option 1 is probably cheaper in the end if you can find a decent used kit.
Or, you could just buy a new Nitrous solenoid and then get a NOS timing control for the system and use it as a single stage.

and I have 1 x 5# bottle (both NOS)
I have steel braided line
fuel pressure safety swtich
and electrical crap
maybe i'll just sell this stuff and get me a fresh 10# bottle? can I dual stage that?
Sure, you can dual stage the 5# bottle, however you will not get many runs in before it is empty. The 2# bottle may give you close to a full pass, but I would not bother with it personally.
My advise would be to sell what you have and buy a complete kit. You can sometimes find pretty good deals on NOS brand solenoids on EBay from time to time though, just depends if you know what you want and can peice the thing together yourself.

Yeah get rid of those small bottles and get you a 10or 15lb bottle. You don't have to dual stage you can run 150-200shot on a single nozzle from NX. I would just buy a new NX kit for less than $500 and start with the 125hp jets and work from there. Just my .02

who gets a 383 with forged pistons and billet rods for 125?
N.O.S. recommends going to dual Nozzles if you want to spray above a 150 shot.(granted the NX' shark supports 200, but you wanted to spray 225 or higher with nozzles, and also use N.O.S. components.)
Well, it wouldn't be a dual stage but you could feed enough fuel and nitrous with the right jettings in both nozzles to support a 225 shot if the fuel and nitrous solenoid could support that big of a shot. In other words, you would need a new fuel and nitrous solenoids that can each support 225 HP or more.
But I believe you should go with a direct port if you want to spray accurately over 200 horses, you would get better distribution in your built 383. Why skimp on the nitrous sytem after paying big bucks for the 383?

Another option that I haven't seen mentioned is a progressive controller rather than a 2 stage system. I just finished up my direct port system w/ Jacob's Nitrous Mastermind. Similar effect as dual stage.
That wouldn't work....it'd push the throttle body too far out towards the front of the car & the IAC would interfere w/ the thermostat housing. Even w/ some of the slightly thicker plates (like NOS for example) some grinding of the thermostat housing/IAC is required. Two would definitely be too much - just in case anyone is considering such a crazy idea
This is a whacked out idea but could you take say two TNT plates and stack them?
Here's another crazy idea, two systems!

A dry kit that hooks into one of those throttle bodies that has the passages built in.
Then have a nozzle spraying from a wet kit at the blades of the throttle body.
Nah
