Easiest way to get window switch/progressive/timing retard
Easiest way to get window switch/progressive/timing retard
What is the easiest way to get all this done?
I don't want to run 3 boxes under the hood, I see Harris has the Edge, and it has an output for timing retard, but I would assume that is just like a relay to go out to an msd box or something. Anything out there that can do all of it without costing a fortune?
I sprayed before on my stock setup / stock tune and only had an rpm switch cut it off before the redline. Wanting to be a little safer now that I have a cam and lots more tuning done.

Re: Easiest way to get window switch/progressive/timing retard
I bought a Mallory 685 box for my car. It has two rev limiters, a window switch, a timing retard for nitrous, and for boose, a start retard, and a tach output.
It's running really well in my car.

You are correct; you will need an ignition system that can be triggered to do the timing retard. As far as I know there is no "all in one" box currently available. I see you having to run 2 boxes, one being a progressive controller and the other being an aftermarket ignition that will allow you to pull timing.

JACOB 's Mastermind will do everything except cut the nitrous
off at a predetermined RPM. It has the retard, start nitrous
and progressive.

I do not know much about the jacobs.Do you have a after market ignition system on the car now.You will need to run a seperate box for timming but I would suggest the new 200 progressive from NX it will do everything else and can not be beat as far as quality.....

You'll still need an aftermarket ignition system to use that feature. Here's a link to their manual:
