Different N20 question

My freind was telling me what he knew about N20. He was telling me that N20 can cause warping on parts in the engine from the sudden temp drop, then the rise againt from N20. Is this ture, or a common problem at all?

in my 10+ years of nitrous use,i have never heard that or experienced anything like it.

almost seems like 1 of the misconceptions that people spread when they are scared of nitrous.

in theory it could be true, but i have never experienced anything like it.

this is cut/pasted directly from NX's website:

Q. Does nitrous increase cylinder temperatures and combustion chamber pressure?
A. No, cylinder temperatures should stay the same when the correct nitrous air/fuel ratio is used. Yes, increased cylinder pressure equals increased horsepower.

So if everything is tuned right, there shouldn't even be a significant temperature change.
