I dont think there is any real danger. But I'll leave that for the other guys to answer.
I also think 75 is fine for daily. I use my 100 daily. I have 145,000 on the clock.

Well if your lucky they won't damage the bottle... and hopefully if they do it will be empty... how ever imagine shaking a bottle of soda up.. .then poking a hole in it.... now imagine instead of a bottle of soda you ahve a bottle of compressed gas. Either a the the gas will spew out in a frantic rush and you'll be frustrated at your losses... or be all the gas will try and rush out a small hole all at one time and explode on you sending your car and your body into tiny peices for everyone to click on and watch at rotten.com labeled "Nitrousmoron." But honestly N20 can be dangerous and it can be safe also... it's just one of those common sense things. BTW there's some interesting vids in the Lounge forum with people catching thier cars on fire...after some N20 malfunctions... not really fault of the nitrous really... but more or less errors on fault of the owners.

75-100 shot on a daily bases??? that's a hell of a way to handle rush hour traffic when your late for work. Trust me.. you don't want to carry around a fully loaded bottle for days at a time unless you plan on using it.. that's how accidents happen.

and some how... I no longer miss my N20 Kit.

Oh yeah and you know it!

But no Really ... N20 is pretty awsome... as long as you have the appropriate setup you'll have nothing to worry about... N20 accidents only happen ever so often...and most manufacturers do offer fail safe parts. But unless you know the hulk... your N20 bottle is built like a tank I wouldn't worry about it failing on you.

k are those tanks built like most compressed gas tanks?

i know my propane tanks at work are like fort noxs, had one fall off the truck once on the road after filling it up and it was fine... so if they are built like that then its all good

Re: Danger of N20?

I wouldn't worry about it... I clumsily dropped mine a few times... while it was empty... and it was ok...minus sctraches but it didn't fall far though. Most of the time when you do hear of of failures it's a problem in the valve system... go head and order yourself a kit and enjoy it. The N20 bottle isn't something worth worrying about.... but how much of a shot you plan on running, wet or dry...and what kit to go with... are more important things to think about.

These bottles are pretty heavy duty.Of course if the bottle took a direct hit it would probley break the valve or something off. However in all the years I have done this I have not yet seen a nasty accident from the bottle taking a hit in a wreck.

i suppose if it was given a good hard hit, it has a place to go one direction or another... now what is the difference (off topic but my topic anyway) between wet or dry shots?

Re: Danger of N20?

All bottles are DOT approved, so they go through some tests. If you are really concerned about safety then I have one thing for you to consider. There are bottle heaters on the market that are supposed to be automatic and shut off after the bottle reaches a certain pressure. The problem is that the pressure ports some tap into are on the valve side of the bottle and are only active when the valve is on. If you were to turn on your heater and forget to open the valve the pressure would climb until the bottle ruptured-exploded. The discs do not always work and I have seen a factory bottle that had two discs installed by accident. This can kill. There are pictures floating around of a car that had the rear end blown off and the garage door removed because of this. Just something to keep in the back of your mind. I believe that many new bottles are available now that have an always active port which these type of systems can plumb in to.
