If I did nothing more to my car, considering it's current best, could I crack the 11's?

I have a CompuCar wet kit that i'm installing soon along with the RaceTronix 255 pump w/plug n play harness. Also going in are comp engineering rear drag shocks, msd 6a ignition, window switch, TR6 plugs and SFC's (finally). No big power adders going on unless I buy a buds ported LT1 heads and 1.6 crane gold RR's.

Is it possible - provided traction exists?

11s is not far away at all i feel with your set up you will see 12.40s step the shot up to 150 maximize your traction and 11.80s could be had

 

A friend of my ran 11.8 with a stock 1994 A4 (2.73 rear gears, CAI and a flowmaster), a 150 shot (NX) and a borrowed set of ET Streets.

 

You should be able to reach 11 with a very good launch, but your tranny or rear isn't going to take much of that.

 

I think your tranny and rear end will take the 100 shot dose more than you think. I'd worry about the tranny more than the rear-end. If your car was a 6-speed, then I might worry more about the rear. I think you can get in the low-low 12's with 100 shot...... Juice it 125, and I think you're there...

 

i went 11.8 bone stock with long tubes and a 150 shot...it was goin 13.4 on motor at the time and went 1.8 at 117 on a 150 shot...and my car was a 6 speed

 

the moral to the story is he wants to get in the 11s with his mods and a 100 shot!

 

I think the car has a 12.50 in it just the way it sits. Adding 1.6's an electric wp, pulley, and trans-go should help out a little too. Then i'll spray on top of that.... 11's?

 

It shouldn't be too hard at all. My old setup (Hotcam, Port matched heads, LT, 3.42 gears A4 and NX 100 shot) Went 12.5 at 111 all motor and 11.8 at 124 on the bottle. Both on 1.9 60 foot times.

 

For sure, that's what i'm planning on

 

Could very easily see this car go 11s on a little 100 shot, hook it on tires with skinnies, should do it given good racing conditions, both track prep and weather. Thats what I plan on doing with my LT1
