bottle warmer necessary?

Heres an equation: PV=nRT the gas law. Seems at constant volume, if you spray 5lbs of a 10lb bottle, you'll only have 500psi left if you fill the bottle to 1000psi originally. (if not using a bottle warmer. Is that right?

Pressure in the bottle will vary based on ambient temps. Regardless of volume, liquid in the bottle will boil until the pressure in the bottle is enough to stop the boiling. On a normal 65 degree day, you'll probably see around 600-650 psi with 5 lbs of nitrous in the bottle. With a heater, 1000 psi is no problem.

Even though I live in Sunny So Cal ...I am still planing on buying a bottle heater ... looks like my bottle mounted gauge will stay and ANOTHER N2O gauge will have to be bought .... damn ..... if anyone asks, getting a nitrous kit is like opening a can of worms ....... or should I say bottle ?

I live in south west florida and i use a automatic bottle heater. It really helps maintain bottle pressure.

I think that keeping the bottle pressure consistent (at ~1000psi) is vital to the safe and effective use of N2O. So, you need a bottle heater and a pressure gauge, IMHO.
