Bottle pressure
Bottle pressure
What is the best way to keep bottle pressure consistent in very hot temps.
Or how do you keep bottle pressure from going too high?
The last time I took it out in 100+ temps the gauge went off the scale.
Thanks

This is where a purge comes in.Alot of people think it is just for a cool show.It actually has several purpases. Here they are.
1.Cool shows-LOl
2.To get the air out off the line.
3.To release bottle pressure when to high.
Try to keep the bottle pressure about 1150.
Good Luck

use the purge to release bottle pressure??? That will work but your going to waste lots of precious juice, because the way you are lowering pressure is decreasing the volume in the tank, aka, wasting juice.............
1150? that is a tad high strung.
NX recomends anywhere between 1000-1100 (and 100 is high side).
Each kit is set up for a specific pressure range, too much bottle pressure and you can run lean or lock up a solenoid. not enough pressure for a NX kit and you will run pig rich.
IMO it wouldnt be smart to leave the bottle in the car if you are at work on very HOT days. inside temps of the car get way too hot to even think about keeping pressure reasonable.
