Bottle location

Okay guys. I have two big 15" subs in the rear well. Ive noticed thats where most of you have been putting your bottles. Got anymore ideas on where to mount the bottle? I thought about just mounting it loud and proud in the rear window. But I thought it was illegal to have a bottle in your car here in cali on the street. Am i right? If im wrong ill just put it there.

Behind the back seat, in the trunk, in the spare tire well...

NOS isn't illegal if it's in the car and NOT opened.. It depend's on the state though... I've had my car impouned before and my NOS was ON and I asked the cop if I could turn it OFF before they towed my $hit and he said sure.... So it really depend's on what you drive and where you live... I'm sure they give someone with a HONDUH more of a hard time rather than someone with an F-BODY

Seein as your out here in Cali like me I would say do not put it in the rear for everyone to see. No it isnt illegal assuming you have the right kit with a blow down tube ect. BUT ...... If a cop see's the bottle he is more likely to pulll you over. I have mine in the rear compartment. Since you have subs there, put it in the spare tire well, or even between the backseats. Aparently you dont seem to be going for a "stealth" install, so somewhere in the car is fine, just not the back window. ( You want the thing mounted securly also). Good luck !

Got mine mounted in the spare tire well, you could also mount it on the hump between the two back seats that looks neat too

hehehe

i've heard and i've seen.. if your not taking it to the track.. witch after the install you don't need to prove anything their.. thats not where things happen

i keep my back seat bak down all the time.. a 2 seater.. and their is a solid piec unde their.. ,, paint in interior color for camoflage.. paint it exterior color for flair

or get some automotive carpet and velcrow it over the botles.... or louud and proud.. but near the t top well it the gass tasnk and you have to drop it was a hassle.. and it youu don't ride the Nos
put the rar seat up without the bottles.. frot to back is better for thepickup thats why their monted at that angle.. like a straw they require that ange to pickup the lat pounds

good luck

thats how i did mine win a measly 10.. i sold the 15

Since I have a roll bar and no back seat I have it mounted behind the pass seat. with the pressure gauge in sight with a slight turn of the head and valve in hands reach.

ehhh between the 2 rear seats is what i was going to do originaly, I think it would be to IN YOUR FACE. So what I did is I took the rear passenger seat out, and mounted her in there. Perfect bottle elevation and everything. ALso, your prob gonna have to buy those NOS mounts to get your bottle mounted in between the rear seats and keep it at proper operating angle. I'd go with taking the rear seat out, its only 1 bolt, and how many people sit back there and how often?

Back seat

dude dead center whith the seats folded down.. in the midlle so you can open it an keep n eye on the gauge

materialmatching your interor coler, tan, gray or black. put it over then bottle ans us vlcrow..

like te the guys idea,, i don't think you need to use anything.. just drill the screws into the back.. and the angle is flat to the bottle ngle is correct ...as as you accerate all the nos i shoved to the the bottom were the pck up is.. its symetrical.. and yo can see the gauge and no need for a bottle opener..

pehaps you coul spring for a nos progresive controler.. so your traction wont be a problem

if,you don't like the blanket or carpet idea.. paint the bottle

BLACK , AND TINT/ LIMO TINT THE REAR

GOLDEN SWEET..AND MEAN

ITS THE ONLY WAY I'D EVER DO IT..LIKE I WAHT 4 OR 3 PEOPL IN MY ROD.. ME AND MY LADY.. OR JUST ME.. THATS IT
