I dont run a Tstat on my NOS heater. Just loop the wires together that would normally plug into the Tstat.

but make sure you keep a close eye on the pressure.

you should have some kind of regulator device.

someguy on ls1.com was selling some 95degree nos style stats. These are better than the stock ones. they were like $15.

I had all sorts of NOS tstat's for thier heater, and IMO they are all junk.

Smart thing is to use a Tstat, but since Nitrous Express runs at a higher bottle pressure then NOS<my setup is better suited for NO tstat and watching the pressure guage.

i think i am going to run no stat and just get a gauge and watch it. the wire that i am talking about is just one off of the relay. should i just run it to nothing? or just ixnay the relay itself? i'm not too swift on the whole wiring thing..

I would think if your not running a pressure transducer you wouldn't even need the relay. The whole reason for the relay is to turn off the heater when it get to the right pressure. If you have nothing measuring the pressure then relay will never be able to turn anything off.

the relay is there to also NOT melt the on off switch. you MUST use a relay, the heaters pull too much power to not run 1.

yeah, RUN A RELAY. A relay is there so that a small current device like your switch can trigger the bottle heater to get a direct connection to the battery and draw as much current as it needs. Make sure u use correct guage wires too, and solder your connections.
