Which is better- Dual Stage or Single Stage w/ Progressive Controller?
Which is better- Dual Stage or Single Stage w/ Progressive Controller?
I'm wanting to run a 250-300hp wet shot, however, I don't know which route to go. I'm looking for something to use on street/strip, but I won't be spraying all the time (maybe once a week or once every 2 weeks). What setup would be the best for my application? I'm not looking for a drag-only car, but an all-around performer. My car is an M6, BTW...

Do a 175 and a 125, first stage (175) on a progressor.(Your 10 bolt will last longer). And the second on a window switch. Start the first kit at 3k and have it in by 3800-4k and the second kit hit around 4K 4.2K. Thats what i would do...
Re: Which is better- Dual Stage or Single Stage w/ Progressive Controller?
I have been researching your same question for some time. I have a a six speed alike you and want to hit it as early as possible, but the good old ten bolt. So back to your question, with the controller your going to be able to dial in the percent of the total hit you want in every gear. But as big of a shot your talking about you'll never get traction on the street unless you roll around on e/t streets or another racing tire. Drag radials won't hold that much torque. The dual stage could work out quite nicely if you get everything setup up and tuned properly, but in your position I would go with the progressive controller so on the street you can turn it down to allow for traction. Otherwise your not going to get your full gain. With the dual stage you could go 100 or 75 out of the hole and either 125-175 after. That wouldn't work out so well on the street though. You also left out many details about your setup, so with more information and goals you will get better answers.
Look on NX's website and read the paragraph on the controller. it is a nice toy
