Alternative to Progressive Controller?

I had an idea and wanted to know if this would be feasable. NOS makes a window switch to activate and deactivate a nitrous system. I dont like the idea of pulsing solenoids, so I wondered if this would be a feasable idea.

Buy the dual shot upgrade kit for my cheater kit, which consists of power shot solenoids and all the plumbing to run 4 solenoids.

Buy 2 NOS window switches. Set one for the initial amount of nitrous (say 100 horsepower) from 3,000 to 6000 rpm. Set the second window switch from say 5,000 to 6000 which would turn on the power shot solenoids for an addition 50 or 100 horsepower on top of the shot already running.

Is this a feasable idea? Is it an ok practice to have 4 solenoids open at the same time? Any input is appreciated,

Seth

Normally thats the point of upgrading a single stage system to a dual stage. It allows you to bring in more nitrous down track, rather then having excessive torque (and potentially wheelspin) at the launch.

Personally I like to see actual timers used rather then window switches, since the amount of time it takes to go from 3000-5000 is gona in the blink of an eye and almost defeats the purpose. w/ a timer you can bring in the 2nd stage at any point down track, timed to when you desire.

Good luck!
