Well guys..went to the track on sunday and i surprised myself and every single LS1 guy out there...

I basically ran an 11 with these mods: stock manifolds, stock tune, full weight (including spare), Yank SS3600, 3.73's, Mt ET street radials Bogart Skinnies, and a NX "fat" 75 wet shot, stock suspension except relocation brackets.

I got on the brakes hard on that run way before the 1/4 mark because i thought i heard something bad happening so just to be safe i let out.

I like the wheel pulling action myself

^me and my buddy called "the outlet" on thurs. to ask you some questions about which nx nozzle i should get. Shark or pirrahna. I commend your customer support along with NX's.

we played around on the street a bit...my nitto streets were not happy

And boy did it feel good on the track..i've never ridden in anything down the track that cut a 1.59 60 ft....it shot out of the hole like a raped ape.

Wow, very nice times. How is the 3600 stall converter working on the streets? I was planning on doing a higher stall converter next spring along with the trans. rebuild, but I am still debating on what stall to go with. I was also planning on installing a nitrous kit next spring as well, but am still debating on the NX kit or the TNT kit.. But this is all assuming my motor passes a compression test and maybe a cylinder leakdown test first to make sure it is healthy. Anyways, nice times once again.

 

I don't go by RPM's really..I stall the car up till i feel the back "lift" then i back off a bit and let her settle down some. I try not to launch the car with the suspension extremely loaded.

I love that thing. The 3.73's tamed it down a bit. It was stalling way higher with the stock 3.23. I've got the transmission locking up around 40mph so that works out good in town. It makes it where i'm at ~1500. whereas i'd be at ~2300 unlocked.

 

Are you still working off of the stock 10-bolt?

 

oh yeah...and i have no fear of breaking it.

 

I wish i could pull 60s like that.. I could only manage a 1.70 with my 6speed.

 

Do you have a window switch? If so, what RPM do you activate the spray?

 

no window switch..just the NX TPS activation switch
