Question you wish you never have to ask anyone...
Ok....I have been babying my car for almost 4 years now and since then, I have gotten door ding, rock chips and the occasional... "oops the driveway is too high", but I figured once I replaced my hood, I would do an entire paint job.
Anyways, last night my car got hit in the left-back side...the left-rear lights is broken, the rear section of the car with the CAMARO indention is push-in on the left side and the rear-deck lid is damaged. And this is while my car is parked outside of Barnes and Noble in Main Place Mall (Santa Ana). I even parked where no one would park and for some reason it became a magnet to someone's truck or SUV. Unfortunately, I did not see who the assailant was.
My question is... does anyone know of a good reputable body shop, that will do an excellent job... and I don't care much about the money part as long as it is reasonable, because I would probably get the door dings and rock chips fixed also.
...just to vent out... I was really, really, really upset and to top it off, I could not get a wink of sleep last night, I am just lost for words...now the money I have been saving up for a full suspension upgrade is going to the repairs....aarrggghhh!
sorry the long message. It's so hard to look at her in this condition, but I still love her, even though she is not perfect.

..I was searching for Paint shop in the forums and run into a thread where "White30th" (Matt) recommending New Image Paint and Body in Orange, CA...I am thinking of checking this place out and see how much it would cost .... probably this weekend... anyways, if anyone else has any suggestions ...thanks for posting.
Are you going to claim this on your insurance? If you aren't, I think it will be a bit more affordable if you purchase the parts used yourself. Someone on the "other" board is selling and sells many 4th gen parts.
If your deductible is low (< $500), I think you will better off filing a claim with your insurance.
PS: Your name wouldn't be Dexter, would it?

Thanks for everyone's reply... the adjuster is coming this friday to see if the damage cost more than $500, then after that I will go and get estimates from the shops listed in this post.

Hey fellow Pinoy, if you are willing to drive down to San Diego there is a body shop down here that does awesome work. I had my SS hood adjusted and painted and it looks awesome. They did a fantastic job on getting the hood to fit prefectly. The place is called Jack Williams Auto Body and Paint. If you are interested e-mail me or reply to this post and I would be happy to give you the number and address of the place. Good luck and hopefully you get your car fix and back on the road again.
Thanks for the offer My Mighty White 95 Z28, I have already decided to go local....but unfortunately, I have another problem...I use my car to work everyday and I commute from orange county (Cerritos/La Palma Area) to LAX. I guess I would need to figure out my transportation before I take my car to the shop...
I could drive my 70 camaro, to work, but I get about 8 miles per gallon on the highway and It has an overheating problem. Gas prices and the hot weather at the moment doesn't help.
Thanks, again.

My fellow Pinoy, I have a great shop that is located in South Gate, they do lots of exotic cars, and specialize in Mercedes and BMW's. I was going to get my 69 done up there, but they wanted a bit too much for what I could afford at the time.
They are Tuning Service , Owner Peter Martini 562-622-2728. They have done some great work. Tell them Jon Dean sent you.
