Plan to have the block machined, so prefer to start with a used one.

Anyone in Michigan have one?

Have you checked with Shawn at SMC?

I still have some if you want the NEW stuff. Nothing used yet, but I am watching for one for you.

Thanks Quinton. Yes HRH, I checked with Shawn @ SMC. He does have new blocks. However, I would prefer to save a few hundred by going with a used one, as I will have to have the block machined anyway (bored, squared, etc).

Right now I'm looking at 6.0 block, .030, stock crank (or Linatti) forged rods and pistons, maybe AFR heads, upgrade the studs, and spray the **** out of it.

It's looking like something that wont happen until the winter, because of the time to make a custom piston, get the block machined, then assembled, and put back into the car, tuned, etc, it would be late in the year, and only time for a few races, if any.

I could throw something together quickly, but I think I would spend the winter wishing I had done things differently.

So if anyone runs across a 6.0 block, keep me in mind. I only need a block, no heads, no crank, just main caps. Thanks.
