Are they bringing emissions back to MI?

I have heard a few times that they going to start doing emissions testing again in michigan. I was just wondering if anyone knows anything about this, I want to plan my mods. More specifically, Macomb county, if it is by county.

I don't see any point in it. It is just a way to make money and cause people a lot of headaches. I don't feel that it would cut down pollution significantly.
