Thanks Chris R. IROCSS85

Hey Chris, thanks for the awesome alignment on my car, it drives sweet at decent speeds and doesn't pull except for every bump in the road but I love how it handles! In the summer I need to get some new tires and a roll cage and really try her out! Thanks again for taking the time to do it right, your one of the few mechanics that I know that do things right. hopefully you can come over soon and watch the lt1 be done up and hopefully I can give you some competetion at the track next summer, I believe we are tied in races so far 1-1. Later.

no prob. bud. glad to hear that fixed the pull. lets hope the LT1 makes it till you get the time to take it out and rebuild it. I think it will as long as you let it warm up and treat it really nice.

as far as the raceing this summer, cant wait. I just hope that i can talk the boss into leting me get a blower for the LT1. I may have to sell the iroc though. or maybe just the eng. to pay for the blower. gotta do what ya gotta do I guess.

so make sure and keep me posted on when you get ready to do the LT1 rebuild and I'll give a hand. I can make copy's of all the torue spec's and borrow the nec. tools(like the front cover seal drivers) from work.

and dont let me forget that I still owe you like $30.

Tell the "BOSS" to keep the Blazer and sell your IROC, then put a cam and blower on the 95 and you'll be all set, just tell the boss it will have too much power for her to drive and make the exhaust too loud and she won't go near it. If you accomplish this I will even buy you a pair of pants to wear! J/K Good Luck!

Just for comparison
Mandi=Black blazer
Kelly=Black blazer

John=94 Z28
Chris=95 Z28
This is how it should be.

well, it depends on how you want it. complete, or almost complete.

I plan on puting in a big block, so the only thing I can reuse would be the carb. and the distributor.

it would bolt up to your transmission. thats the same one I have. but mine has performance rebuild and shift kit.

so complete would come w/

full length headers and dual exh, carb. to oil pain, and MSD dist. and 6AL box too. all you'd need to buy would be a fuel press. regulater and the fuel line from the stock steel line to the regulater. that would also incl. the flexplate and LT1 starter, alum. waterpump, plugs, wires, valvecovers,everything. I'll even incl. the stall conv., but it really needs (for best performance) a bigger stall.

all that for $3000

or for all that exc. the carb. and distr. and MSD6AL $2400

I'll even incl. fresh bearings to get a good look at the rotating assembly.

and you can bring your car here and we'll install it. no prob. but in exch. for the labor I want your old 305.

what you think? this in your car would do at least high 12's, if not match my times. this eng. would def. do 12.4s w/the right conv. and a good run in cool air. the one run I had in cool air was stained by the fact that the dist. had moved and retarded the timing down to 26deg. when it was supp. to be 36.

um, I think its like $48. not positive. I used to be able to do that stuff on the side, which means I would havebeen able to do it for like $25. but not any more. now I can do the alignment under my name, so you'd get my discount. which I think comes out to around $35. but most importantly, I'll get it perfect for ya, like I did to johns car. just let me know when you'd like to bring it by and I'll see what I can work out for ya.
