stuck clutch pedal?

stuck clutch pedal?

any one ever have their clutch pedal get stuck about 2 inches off the floal board and than come back up ?

Yes, I did once. I was playing around being stupid trying to do a burn out. It was stuck for a few minutes and then let up. I have no idea what did it but I know it couldn't have been good

i was doing the same thing playing around being stuped did a burn out through 1st and 2nd than it got stuck in 3rd. dont know if it was just the pedal or the clutch disk it self. but like you said it couldent of been good.

Unhappy A clutch pedal not releasing...

...is a BAD thing! It bodes NOT WELL for you! It's a pressure plate
problem, usually as a result of too many RPM's. Basically your pressure plate cannot overcome the above normal rotational forces.

Now this is from My 4-speed days and may not apply to the new clutches in the M6 cars. BUT... IT still isn't a GOOD thing! Otherwise it's 'put in a new clutch time!'
