You will get a chance to do a minimum of two time trials if you get there when the gates open (get there before then). Then it's straight up bracket racing .500 full tree. Put your dialin on the window and 1st wins. No redlighting, you lose. No breakouts, you lose. Fall asleep at the tree worse than your oponent and you'll more than likely lose. You can buy your way back into the second round if you lose in the first. No buybacks after that.

One class for you, street DOT tire bracket race. Dialins make everyone equal. Most cars will be above 10.50 seconds. 10.50 and below will run the pro and modified classes. You will also be up against cars that topple the clocks at a mere 18 to 20 seconds (I HATE waiting for them at the light).

I would get there shortly before 3. Gates open at three and the line typically is double stacked going out the gates and onto the road for 1/4 to 1/2 mile.

I'm planning on being there WITH the SECRET weapon!!!

I sat here thinking... what can I race... Redbird has no street tires nomo'! '89 GMC spins the tires a little to much. Wifes 4WD Jimmy, naw, 92,000 miles. AHHHH-HAAAA...
The secret weapon, why don't I unleash it?!

Took it for a test launch on WET road... even with posi traction, still spins a bit, DAMM! Oh... try this button, the one that says 'AUTO 4WD'. AHHHH_HAAAA, no tire spin!
Launch in A4WD then shift into 2HI.

5.3L, 285HP, 325TQ, A4, AUTO 4WD, 265-16 32.5" tall tires... Introducing the:

PEWTER INTRUDER (formally known as the '02 Silverado that tows the Redbird)!!
Be afraid... Be VERY AFRAID, Street Tire Shootout people!

Where you guys looking at parking? I'll be there by 2:30 or so, look for me... if you dare!

HInk
