hey, i just bought a 8.5" rear with strange axles and c clip eliminators and i'm trying to figure out how to bolt the backing plate for the disc brakes on.

the backing plate must go behind the plate axle but in front of the c clip eliminator plate right?! if so is that bearing pressed on? how do i get the bearing and c clip eliminator off to get the backing plate on the other side of that stuff?

or do i just cut a slot in the backing plate to slide it over the axle and bolt it in?

quick answers would help, i need to get my car drivable this weekend.
