Dunno how popular they have been, first one I saw cruising the streets. Definitely a beautiful car. I only wish I weren't hauling a 90 gallon aquarium with a cooler full of fish or else I would've turned around and followed the GT to get some pictures.

 

I've seen 2 running around Livonia/Farmington Hills area. One's yellow w/black stripes, and one is red. I had to take a double take when I saw them.

 

they sit so low they look sweet ive seen a red one running around the mound rd area a few times. guy works at 18 and vandyke i believe as a Big shot. Manufacturer plate. there fore i know it aint his its the companyies. also ive seen more of the new mustangs then the new gto. whats up with that. lol

 

I saw one this summer on I-94 going west. I was in my TA I revved at it, the ford test driver smirked and shook his head.

 

Thats the first spotted GT I've heard of...

 

Ive been for a ride in one, and I can say with all honesty, its the best car Ive ever been in. Im a die hard C5 guy, and the C5 cant hold a candle to the GT. The thing is absolutely amazing. It does everything better then every other car Ive ever ridden in or driven and it does it FASTER! "If you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up"- Ferris Bueller

There was a blue one and a red one that drove back and forth from Livonia to Lansing all summer long, I always pulled up next to them and revved my engine but they wouldn't go. The best part was when there was a traffic jam and we sat there for about 1.5 hours and one of them overheated at the side of the expressway.
