Yes, I am still working on last years project. Thank you. I got most of the things done, but still have to wire the tranny cooler fan, set up a switch panel, upgrade the intank pump. Those are things I wanted to get done last year. I'm sure I missed some things... Like the battery box, battery cutoff switch.. Dam it, why did you have to bring those things up?
Ok, so I tend to put thngs off. Having a baby sure doesn't make it any easier, not until he can learn something other than hammer goes bang, bang, bang. It'll all come together, someday

So far this winter I've . . .
Installed Global West upper control arms, replaced all ball joints, installed LG alum. control arms in rear, installed ES tranny mount, LS1 driveshaft, sent my stock throttle body to be ported to 52mm and got it back, received LG alum. panhard rod, received 1.65 rockers, installed lighter steering wheel, picked up VFN pin-on hood and Percy's lexan windshield, installed modified driveshaft loop for better ground clearance.
Still to go is to install everything I have left in the garage and a XE 224/230 camshaft. Also have to buy some rain tires for this year. Gonna wrap my headers and insulate surrounding wiring too, as well as install an oil cooler and temperature gauge.
That should do it.
Dang, you guys have some serious projects, good luck to everyone. Due to my financial status i won't be doing anything else to my car until Spring (or as soon as I can find a job). I'm pretty happy with everything I did in early December, just waiting on money for my wish list.
94BIRD, your car looks like its going to be sweet for road racing this year, I guess my vette has no chance of keeping up with you now. Do you still drive your car on the street or is it track only? Let me know when you race this spring, I'd like to come watch, possibly participate.

My car's road course only now. Dropped the insurance on it a few months ago. All of my races are out of town but I do go to Waterford Hills to test sometimes. The nearest NASA race is at Gingerman, but we also race at Putnam Park near Indy and Mid Ohio. The others are all further away, like Road America and VIR, as well as BeaveRun. Schedule is at http://www.racenasa.com . If you ever want to go, just send me an email. I could always use some help during a weekend, and at all the events there are HPDEs where it's like a track day with instructors riding in your car with you if you want.

I can PM you his phone number, and you can talk to him yourself. He's not a large operation, but he's done a lot of work. You'll have to get them into him within the next week or so cause he's expecting to get very busy, very soon. I'm not sure if he's able to touch Lloyd's price, but he does good work from what I can tell. I know he quoted me about the same flow numbers that Phil at Advanced Induction told me, although I have AFR heads. I'd at least look in to him, and he's a very nice guy to boot.

However, I will resolve to finish porting the cylinder heads this winter, and bolt them onto the shortblock. That's my winter project.

94Bird,
yes with driver, and if I didn’t have a 14 point cage, heavier suspension components, a moser 9” with additional back-bracing, blah blah blah, I know I would be a lot lighter, even with me in the car, lol! I realize there are more items I could strip off of the car but that is a bit much, lol! As if I haven’t already gone to far
dan,
i thought third gens were lighter???
