So, how is your winter project coming along?

I've got the rear out & shortened 3" each side. Spool, setup kit, with new adjustable shocks on the way.

Still have to get sway bar, fit everything, weld it, then take it back out & have it painted or powdercoated & then set up. Something like that. Nothing as hectic as last year.

How about you all?

Well the only mod I did was upgrading my 94z28 to a 1988 Dodge Shadow 2 door.

Other then that the winter is hurring along quite well.

Joe

PS. I thought you had a 393 all bore

Bringing mine home today after spending $1,663.46 getting it running right. Next up is a 31 spline T-lok, 9 inch ends and 31 spline forged moser axles. I need a new carpet too after sitting 3 1/2 years and some other stuff done when I get her broken in.

Suspension's done... QA1 all around and Spohn Drag Sway Bar

Taking the heads to the porter today, in 2 weeks should have them back with a wild cam to go with them

Sending out the charger to Vortech probably next week for inspection

A/C, radio and ABS removal in progress

Gear swap eventually...

Sending out the Torque converter shortly...

Who knows what's next and how long it'll take...

I'm not doing anything, as I spent all of my car money trying to make the CamaroZ28.com Nationals DVD!

If you want to do me a favor, buy a copy. The party is on the 17th at Chris Frezza's house.

Wow, someones been busy.

Me on the other hand have been waiting patiently for almost 8 months to find someone that will do more than talk about building my motor. I'm at the third engine shop, hopefully this one really wants to finish it for me.

Other than that,
1. weight savings
2. back to 6 speed w/viper upgrade
3. Qa1's all around
4. new rearend gears for the stick
5. few more things that will be left as surprises...........

It'll be tight, but I should be racing in the spring. I Just hope that it'll be more than my record of 2 months of having a running car.

The shop is in Garden City and is called Headwinds. The guy's name is Wayne and really seems to know his stuff. His equipment is top of the line and I'm very impressed with the things he has to say.

Yea, I have to get a timing chain cover for the USS Impala, and then add nitrous to teach it a lesson for leaving hawk and me stranded in a cornfield after M8.

Working on getting out a 100+ lbs. out of the car, might put a fuel cell in, and a few other odds and ends.
