hey guys,

i finally didnt it, for those who know me. i've been talking about painting my car for the longest time finally i have begun the terrible task myself with the help of my buddie justin.

in 4 hours we removed the hatch and wing, doors, GFX, front and rear bumbers, fenders and weather stripping.

so far we have preped the hatch and i have painted the wheel wells and calipers. the wheels will be mounted tommorow and we will be using out 240 with our DA sander to really do some damage and then go over it with some 400. after that we tow the car and everything to justins old school, somewhere between 22 and 21 mile rd on gratiot. there we will paint the car ourselves and bake it.

i'm painting it with PPG artic white with white rims (16's) and a royal blue metalic stripe down the center of the car with according accents in the same blue, like badging and such.

i also have a extra set of 16's i'm going to turn into the 30th TA rims (blue ones).

anywyas, i'll let ya know when i'm finished, gonna show it off at M8

anyone got any tips for a color change?

 

Is the motor out? Are you doing the engine bay too?
