slightly improved et and mph :)

Windsor Weekend has come and gone.thanks again Roman for the use of the rubber!!!! had to run et streets in the Q16, i qualified 4th. and thanks for all of the help at the track, especially to Randy and Rick, Brett, etc.... Nothing beats the help from some good friends! that makes for a great crew! can't forget the wife for her help as well got some great video to watch

first qualifier i had to lift the mudstain before me dropped some coolant and it felt like the tires were spinning through 2nd gear. better safe than sorry.

2nd qualifier, i forgot to plug #3 wire on and car ran a 9.83 @ 139.55mph. i found that later in the evening when i popped the hood to do some checks, i noticed it had a slight miss after the pass. cleaned the plugs, went out in the am for final qualifier....9.40 @ 148.19mph on a 1.397 60'. raceweight was about 3470 or so i had over a half tank of gas, and i added some weight to the car over the winter.

1st round of elims 9.45 @ 148.27mph, on a 1.40 60'. 2nd round lost a tight race went 9.60 to a 9.56, but he had me by a tenth on the tree so it didn't really matter. cut my best light on a 400 pro tree in the first round .165.

i actually got to make one more solo pass with the ET Drags, but the track went away, had a 1.38 60', a soon as i grabbed 2nd gear, car got real loose!! i straightened it out and and got back in her to run it out at 9.58 @ 146.6 mph. oh well.

all in all a great weekend, traction was a challenge, and it was the first time i have had the car down the track on the bottle this year, i think i have a few more tweaks before M10 @ Mid Michigan. and that was using less n2o than my 9.44 pass last year in better overall conditions.

That must suck to have those problems and only run a 9.40 et, I only wish I had problems like that. (I'm just jealous) Good job and good luck next time.

Taner are you commong to M10? You and I are running within a .10 of each other again, my best this year is 9.506 @ 146 with a 1.41 60' but she went 9.41 at the same track last year, diffferent track conds.
