Im the blonde haired guy with the marron lt1 and no, my rear end gears are fine. I have an aftermarket strange/moser ford 9" with a street twin, the stock steel driveshaft twisted like a pretzel.

 

Yeah him and Marcus (green twin-turbo z) both managed to do some damage to their ds's.

 

This was the first time I had ever seen a driveshaft twist itself in half. Good thing he had a "real" rear in his car or it would certainly have been toast.

 

That's impressive to twist a steel driveshaft. I twisted my Dynotech Engineering aluminum one into 4 pieces.

It's time to place your order for a Denny's Nitrous ready drive shaft with the billet slip yoke. I just got the standard spicer slip yoke and twisted the splines on that. So you might want to spend the extra $$ and get the stronger slip yoke, unless you plan on upgrading to the Viper output shaft.
